In SJ, at the moment, it looks like jobs, not cuts.

I understand FUCSJ humanist group will be discussing "what should be the goals of the Occupy movement?" next Monday. I'll be interested to hear about what they intend to do with the results of that conversation. I plan to find out on Sunday.Blogging Owlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05832865060001374071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69290022877562450.post-71785269189048266292011-11-17T18:37:35.819-08:002011-11-17T18:37:35.819-08:00Yes!Yes!Jeffrey melcherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13144751073539729024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69290022877562450.post-17221073063073583892011-11-16T01:01:25.826-08:002011-11-16T01:01:25.826-08:00Watching Amy Goodman tonight as she discusses the ...Watching Amy Goodman tonight as she discusses the chaos and destruction in NYC last night ~ in gratitude for all who show us the way... we are with you and even from nascent Occupy Oxnard, 400 miles to the south, on the 17th (we began one month ago) we will make a small gesture locally at the Social Security office next to Plaza Park, where we have had an intermittent presence since mid-October. Sending blessings on this holy work. Ralph Waldo Emerson, visiting him commented, "Henry, what are you doing in there?" and Thoreau responded with, "Waldo, what are you doing out THERE?!"

You've inspired me to participate more fully in this movement than simply changing my bank account.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69290022877562450.post-84362719481938024912011-11-15T11:59:10.821-08:002011-11-15T11:59:10.821-08:00Thank you, Rev.
